I’ve raved about the BBC micro:bit in past posts, and today I learn there will be a new 2020 version released in November. This new versions increases the storage, RAM and CPU, as well as adds a microphone and speaker. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this device is amazing for learning and I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
In the official announcement there are even some examples of using tensorflow lite on the new model for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Lerning basic activities such as voice recognition, this really opens up the possibilities of basic programming into real world application scenarios.
