Constellations
Rose went out on a clear night and found the plough and north star using an app on a phone.
She also found Perseus and Capricornus constellations as well as the planet Jupiter.
Sunspots
We made a sunspot viewer out of an old cardboard box, tin foil and some paper. Unfortunately it didn’t work very well.
We resorted to using a pair of binoculars and some paper, Rosie drew the impression of the sun and it’s spots on the paper. We did this over a couple of days to see how they had moved.
